[ He nods, and they're off towards the gateway. The coffin is what Minato's most curious about, so he wants to head over there first. Was there ever any verdict on whether the coffin's been smashed to pieces at this point or what........
Yeah, alright. Do you know which doors are locked?
[ I'm just going to copypaste what Ty gave me:
"Hello Card! If Minato plays the slots for long enough and eventually hits 777, he will be rewarded with the following:
-Money! Not that he can spend it, and they're American currency. -A small silver key. The symbol for Venus is engraved.
If Minato wanders through the area, he'll find a locked gate with a matching symbol attached. Unlocking the gate, he can go down to another deck where there are two locked elevators. These seem to open with a key card, but one of the elevators will work without the key. If he goes down another deck via taking the stairs? He'll just find a hallway submerged in water. Basically he found another path to the elevators leading to the bottom floor.
But okok Minato doesn't have his hopes up when he sticks the key into the lock, but that just means he's pleasantly surprised when it actually turns and opens. ]
[ Minato pokes at the buttons too, pressing his hand against the panel for a moment and pulling back when it starts to get too hot. It's too bad his element isn't electricity, but it's not like that would've jumpstarted the elevator anyways. ]
Well... elevators are elevators. They'll lead to the same place, so let's try the other one...
[ It's an elevator and there's no clown inside when the doors slide open, so Minato's cool with going inside. Since they're going down... let's keep going down. He presses the bottom-most button. ]
[ The fact that the water can even move is impressive enough, but they're going to have to part the seas if they want to be able to get through the hall. Or maybe they don't? ]
I wonder if we can find some wood to hang onto... or are you okay with swimming?
no subject
after some time, he gets it open! woohoo. he hands it back to minato. what'd you get, buddy.]

[ It's a gun! ]
no subject
A gun.
[WHY DOES HE KEEP FINDING WEAPONS IN THE BOXES HE OPENS.]
no subject
He picks up the gun, looks at it for a second, and stick it inside his bag. ]
Cool. I can put the box back in the room, and we can get going.
no subject
All right.

Ready to go?

Either way, the key does not fit into the lock. ]

I think I remember a gate with a matching symbol.
[time to go drown]
no subject
Alright. Lead the way; I'll watch your back.
[ Time to go drown!! ]
no subject
anyhow, he takes minato to where he recalls the gate being, as he points at the matching symbol. time for you to do the honours, minato!]

More stairs... At least it's down instead of up.
[ Down they go ]

[and away!
... more elevators. shess mashes buttons to test them.]
Seems like one of them won't work without a key card.

... but yeah, minato's not wrong. in the end, it's an elevator.]

off they go to the bottom floor...]

It's an uneventful ride down, the doors sliding open to—-
water
Minato presses the close door button. ]

uh.]
Good reflexes.
no subject
It's like how it was upstairs... Do you think you'd be able to do anything with it? Or is water magic just adding more water?
no subject
he tries on the bit of water that got inside the elevator, as bits rise upwards like reverse gravity is pulling them.]
I don't think I can do it efficiently enough for us to move through yet.

[ ...does Shess need to breathe
is this even worth it ]
no subject
I'm a rather good swimmer.
