[and lili will give shess a piece of the banana bread! it’s actually pretty decent - very basic for banana bread, nothing fancy, maybe a tiny little bit under baked but
it’s fine]
.... I don’t expect you to have an answer....
But for your people, do they know what happens when they die?
For humans, it's known that once you die, the God of Death decides your fate—such as whether you go to Hell or not, for instance. His decision is absolute, and not even the Primeval Gods, creators of the universe themselves, can overturn it.
He's also known for being a rather strict god who doesn't bend the rules for anyone, so there's that.
Previously, it wasn't uncommon for humans to freeze the body in order to hide the death from the eyes of the Underworld, which would allow the person to be resurrected through magic as long as their name had yet to be crossed off. However, since the patron god of the spell in question has vanished, it no longer works.
I've spoken to Sol about that. He said that as long as "the pathway for the core is set", we should be able to return to our worlds in our original state, regardless of our fate here.

Mm, you can just let me know if it’s terrible.

Yes, although it depends on which race you mean.
no subject
... I suppose either.
As you might guess, my people only have unconfirmed hopes on what lies after.

... I see.
And you don’t think that the God of Death has anything to do with what happens here?
no subject
Not to mention that overseeing the Underworld is a busy job. He'd hardly have the time for this.
[the last part is a joke but like. also true.]

I suppose I was just thinking about it. Milla mentioned before that she doesn't want to think that this is the end of the people who were here....

What does that mean...
Have you told Ookurikara?

However, the possibility of returning to our worlds in our original state was something I told him after Tsurumaru's death.

Because now there are a lot of people that we need to try to return back to their homes, even though they've been through truly awful things.
[and she doesn't like the idea of standing still over it]

Kaoru's got some kind of information agreement with Milla, at least.
So if he tells me anything from that, I'll share.

I'll let you know if I find anything useful.
[that isn't hisoka and his goddamn note]

I'll keep looking too.
[because she's tired! of being here!]
